George Zimmer, Marijuana Supporter, Fired From Men's Wearhouse

George Zimmer, the most interesting man in the fashion world, was fired as the head of Men's Wearhouse, the company he founded 40 years ago this summer.
What's even more of a bummer for us fans of the bearded fashionista and king of the cheap suit is that he is a huge supporter of marijuana decriminalization in California. Yep, despite the stiff duds, Zimmer is one of us:
Do we feel a Men's Wearhouse boycott coming on?
Not so fast. In announcing that Zimmer was shown the door as executive chairman, Men's Warehouse also stated this:
The board expects to discuss with Mr. Zimmer the extent, if any, and terms of his ongoing relationship with the company.
Hmm. Maybe they want to keep the Californian as their longtime pitchman.
If he needs a job, we're sure there are plenty of moguls in the state's medical marijuana industry who would welcome him with open arms, even if they're not the types to wear suits.
