Expect Traffic: Half Million Pupils Headed To School Monday
That easy-going traffic you enjoyed in August as half the world was on vacation? It's all coming to an end Monday as a half million children head to campus for the first day of school. So you might want to give your commute some extra time.
"Fall" classrooms actually opened later than usual because the Los Angeles Unified School District needed to save a few bucks. The LAUSD's 1,065 schools will be in full swing Monday.
