A 19-year-old who died of a suspected drug overdose after attending the Hard Summer festival was identified today as Emily Tran of Anaheim, a coroner's official said.
Her body was just received by the L.A. County Department of Coroner today and an autopsy had yet to be done, coroner's Lt. Ed Corral told us. A completed report on the cause of her death could take weeks if toxicology (drug) tests are conducted, which seems likely.

Corral told us previously that sheriff's officials believed the teen had turned up positive for signs of methamphetamine and ecstasy, although the latter is an amphetamine derivative that can set off signals of meth use:
The young woman "had seizures" at the event and "and sadly passed away," the organizers of the two-day concert at Whittier Narrows Recreation Area said in a statement: "Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends."
Corral said Tran's death was recorded at 5:40 a.m. at Greater El Monte Community Hospital.
A patron passed away after he collapsed at last year's Hard Summer event. It turned out he died of natural causes.
Some public officials have scrutinized such rave-like parties: Electronic dance music festivals were shut out of the taxpayer-owned L.A. Coliseum and adjacent Sports Arena in 2011 after a 15-year-old who had sneaked into a 2010 rave died of an ecstasy overdose.
