Eddy Hernandez, L.A. Homicide No. 17: Deaf Man Shot to Death on South LA Street
Eddy Hernandez was gunned down as he was walking home January 26. According to police reports, Hernandez, who is deaf, appears to have been a victim of a robbery.
Police say Hernandez, 30, was walking home after attending school at LA Trade Tech when he was approached by suspects in a vehicle and shot around 8:30 pm near 37th Street and Main. His friends, who were on their way to pick him up, found his lifeless body on the street.
