The Honda's driver, 47-year-old, Armando Aceves of Covina, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the department.
The two men in the suspect's car who were injured were ID'd as Luigi Velasquez and Amado Marcial, both 20-year-olds from L.A., police said. Velasquez was said to be on life support.
A third passenger fled with the driver, cops said.
