Dodgers/Phillies Game 1: Haunted By a Familiar Name

Park left the Dodgers and signed a big contract with the Rangers, but he's always been a little injury prone and he never was able to replicate the success he had here. He even returned to the Dodgers last year, when he went 4-4 in 54 innings as a reliever.

Now 36 years old, this year he landed with the Phillies. He began the season as a starter, then moved to the bullpen where he's been solid, though he's been injured for much of the past month. But he looked healthy Thursday night when he came on in the 7th inning with a one-run lead, a man on second and no outs. Park then proceeded to retire Manny Ramirez, Matt Kemp and Casey Blake.

If the Dodgers lose this series, they're going to be haunted by this Ghost of Dodger Teams Past. Let's hope Pedro Martinez doesn't follow suit today.
