David Juarez, L.A. Homicide No. 141: 20-year-old Man Fatally Shot in Hollywood
David Juarez, 20, was fatally shot on June 29 around 2:50 p.m. while driving in the Hollywood area, according to a press release by LAPD Media Relations. (See map after the jump.)
Juarez, 20, was shot by an unknown suspect on foot while driving southbound on St. Andrews Place heading toward Santa Monica Blvd. His car crashed onto oncoming traffic and stopped at a street light on the south curb of Santa Monica Blvd.

The Los Angeles Fire Department responded and transported Juarez to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police are searching for the suspect and believe the shooting may be gang-related. Anyone with information should contact Hollywood Homicide Detective Illig at (213) 972-2913. During the weekends or holidays, calls should be made to 1-877-LAPD-24-7.
