CineKink Film Fest to Host the Kinkiest Two-Night Stand L.A. Has Ever Seen
"Lust, Love, Life" Shorts Program
Gather your whips, masks and deep-burning fantasies cuz the Cinekink Kinky Film Festival is coming to town again. You remember what happened last year, right?
Surely you didn't forget your one-on-one lesson in "Boylesque" from a male ballet dancer who decided to flip things around a bit in "Waxie Moon."
But anywho, this weekend's fest will be no different. CineKink is bringing erotic documentaries, porn, edgy comedy and explicit films to L.A. Oct. 14-15, and the lineup includes Kink Crusaders, Indietro, Pride & Predilections and Adventures in the Skin Trade.
With screenings at the Echo Park Film Center and Studio Servitù, CineKink plans to turn the city into a celebration of sex, cutting across all ranges of sexual preference, fetish and orientation - BDSM, leather and fetish, swinging, non-monogamy and polyamory, role-playing, gender bending, sex work and sex geekery.
Hit the festival to see the rest of this story.
The festivities commence Friday night 14th at the Echo Park Film Center (1200 N. Alvarado St., Los Angeles). Kicking things off at 7:20 p.m. is Pride & Predilections, a festive assortment of shorts about sexual orientation, identity and one's place in the world.
Then it's "Kink Crusaders," the winner for Best Documentary Feature. We're told this one is a sweet glimpse into the International Mr. Leather contest, and something tells me thousands of hide-clad men competing for a title and a sash might be the sexiest pageant you'll watch this year.
On Saturday the party (literally) moves to Studio Servitù in downtown L.A. for more screenings and the Afterglow Party. The shorts program, "Adventures in the Skin Trade" and Best Narrative Feature winner, Indietro are the film attractions that day.
And at 9:30 p.m. it's time to get saucy at the Afterglow Party, complete with a kinky raffle and surprise performances. And when Cinekink tells you it's a surprise, they're not planning to short-change your senses. Last year we brought a poncho.
"Kink Crusaders," Best Documentary Feature
Ticket prices for each regular screening are $10 door/$7 advance and admission to the AfterGlow Party is $15 door/$10 advance. If you want to go crazy/pro-value, an All-Access Pass is available for $30 ($25 if you're a student or old enough to be called a senior).
And if you want to be the one celebrated next year, CineKink is on the hunt for 2012's best films. Check out CineKink.com for all the dates and submission details.
Because we all love a good submission now and then, don't we?
