Chere Osmanhodzic, L.A. Homicide No. 162: Woman Found Dead Inside Burning Home in Valley Village
A 34-year-old woman was found burned to death inside her home in Valley Village, and police are asking for the public's help in solving the strange caper. According to police reports, firefighters were called to the 11500 block of Riverside Drive at approximately 7 p.m. Saturday. The Fire Department extinguished the blaze and discovered the body of Chere Osmanhodzic.
Detectives said that Osmanhodzic's live-in boyfriend returned from the store and confronted a man inside their 650-square-foot single-family home. He allegedly chased the man several blocks but was not able to catch the culprit. When he returned to the house, he saw that the house was on fire.
