Beverly Hills cops nabbed a suspected burglar near Tom Cruise's home, but one or two others apparently got away, authorities said.
Police were called to the 1100 block of Calle Vista Drive about 5:10 last night after a neighbor saw alleged burglars "carrying duffle bags" at a nearby estate, according to a Beverly Hills Police Department statement:
Fox 11 News reported that Cruise's home was in the same block but that it was not the focus of the search for the bad guy or guys.
The station said two suspects were outstanding and that the BHPD called off the search late last night.
Here's the department's statement, which maintains that one alleged burglar was captured:

Responding officers located and detained one suspect immediately.
Currently, the police department has setup containment with the assistance of Santa Monica, UCLA and West Hollywood Officers. Residents are advised to stay indoors. The remaining suspect is a male black; thin build all dark clothing with a hat covering his ears.
