Best Car Wash for Meeting Girls
It probably has something to do with Dennis, the tattooed Filipino with the ass-length braided hair who manages the joint. At any given time of the day, there is an abnormal amount of beautiful women pulling up to the vacuum hoses to have their chariots rubbed and scrubbed. The prices at Robertson and National are pretty standard, and the crew does an excellent job on detailing. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, the $17.99 VIP not only gets your wheels treated but your floor mats shampooed. Check out Dennis, collecting the cash, bunkered under his cloth canopy, a wireless laptop running YouTube clips of disparate rock bands from across the globe, their riffs wailing from a pair of speakers clipped to either side of the register table. “Anthony Kiedis from the Chili Peppers, his girl brought his car in yesterday,” confides the lead singer/guitarist of his own Filipino heavy metal band. “She’s hot, man. Nice ride too.” On the patio adjacent to where the cars are detailed, the patrons wait for their vehicles, read the paper and check out the scenery, which is particularly pleasant for a car wash. Dennis, anyone?
