Asiana Teen's Body Found in Fire Truck Tracks

Ye Meng Yuan, one of three teenagers headed for summer camp in L.A. before their untimely demise in the July 6 Asiana Airlines crash at San Francisco International Airport, was found after the accident in tire tracks left behind by a fire truck, authorities told the Weekly.
The details add to the fact that she was run over by a rescue vehicle responding to the crash:
San Francisco police spokesman Albie Esparza told the Weekly that, because the victim had been covered in foam from flame retardant sprayed at the crash site, she might not have been visible to whomever was driving the vehicle.
After that, rescue crews circling back noticed her body in tire tracks. Esparza:
The fire truck did indeed go over the passenger victim that died in the Asiana crash. Apparently it's my understanding that this victim was on the ground and covered in foam at the time and no one was able to see her.
She was subsequently discovered when the fire truck repositioned itself and the victim was located in the tire tracks left behind by the rig. The firefighters discovered the victim in the tracks left by the fire truck.
The big question, of course, is whether Yuan was killed by the jetliner crash -- she was ejected along with one other fatality and at least two flight attendants when the Boeing 777's tail hit a seawall that leads to runway "28 left" -- or the truck.
San Mateo County Coroner Robert Foucrault told the Weekly that his report on the cause of death for Yuan was expected midweek.
Yuan, 16, was best friends with a third Asiana fatality, Wang Linjia, also 16. The two were part of a group of 35, including victim Liu Yi Peng, 15, who was headed to Los Angeles for a summer program at West Valley Christian School.
