Arrests Made In Beverly Hills Homicide [Update]
Three people have been arrested Wednesday morning in connection with the murder of a man in Beverly Hills, police told KNX 1070 Newsradio. The identities of the suspects were not released. The victim's was identified as 21-year-old Katsutoshi Takazato, whom a coroner's official said lived at the the home, according to Associated Press.
ABC7 reported that the home in the 1800 block of Carla Ridge was the site of a party Monday night and that its owner, Fuminori Hayashida, had left on a trip, with his adult son staying behind. Police did not confirm this, however.
The station also reported that Hayashida once produced movies with Christian Slater and Dennis Hopper. The homicide was reported Monday morning.
"I don't know if the victim was known by the suspect, but I would have a hard time believing that this would be a random, drive-by situation or just random type of violence,'' said Sgt. Shan Davis of the Beverly Hills Police Department.
