Angelenos Spending More -- A Lot More
If your wallet is empty pat yourself on the back: You just might be an integral part of the economic recovery. The average Los Angeles household spent $3,600 in March, $600 more than one year ago, according to Bundle (via LA Biz Observed).
Considering that the figure does not include mortgage payments or rent, that's a lot of disposable-income spending. The number includes shopping, dining, transportation, travel and liesure. "Consumers felt comfortable again," states the Bundle report. More.
