We warned you, but you wouldn't listen.
Approximately 2,268 of you ended up in handcuffs and behind bars over the holidays for alleged drunk driving, the L.A. County Sheriff's Department reports today.
That's an increase over the same period in 2012-2013:
Cops say 2,168 DUI arrests happened over a 19-day maximum-enforcement holiday crackdown in L.A. County during the last holiday season.

Given this season's numbers, we're looking at a nearly 5 percent increase in arrests. However, the 2013-14 enforcement season was comprised of one extra day compared to 2012-13.
The difference of 100 extra arrests could increase, though, because not all local agencies that participated in the "Avoid the 100" campaign have sent in their stats, deputies said.
Avoid the 100 stands for the 100 local law enforcement agencies that take part in the holiday crackdown with checkpoints and extra patrols.
Even with warnings about exact times and locations of some of the enforcement efforts, thousands of you were ensnared. Why do cops warn us about their intentions? The Sheriff's Department puts it this way:
... Regularly scheduled high visibility DUI enforcement operations are proven strategies for removing impaired drivers from the road and heightening awareness of the dangers of driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
By the way, if you think you're in the clear because the holidays are over, think again. The Sheriff's Department says it's already planning on countywide DUI crackdowns for Super Bowl Sunday in February and for St. Patrick's Day in March.
