Watch: The Amazing El Guincho Plays in Rainforest [MP3]

The good folks at L.A. audio institution Dublab have finally released this excellent clip of Barcelona's El Guincho performing in the viney wilds of South Los Angeles.

The rainforest in question is actually one of the life-size dioramas found at the Natural History Museum, but that doesn't stop Pablo Díaz-Reixa from communing with faux-nature.

As Dublab points out, "the NHM's rainforest is home to dozens of birds and other rainforest creatures, subtly and realistically camouflaged within the thick greenery." Fitting, considering El Guincho's approach to dubby, beat-driven psychedelia most often draws him comparisons to Animal Collective.

After watching the video, which is for the song "Kalise," be sure to download the MP3 documenting the entire 15-minute session that El Guincho recorded for the 'lab when he was in town back in November of 2008.
