Contributing to a worthy cause should be its own reward, but let's face it -- for the majority of would-be good Samaritans, a little karmic credit and the resulting tax write-off just aren't enough.

Thankfully, L.A. web radio station and non-profit arts collective Dublab is doing everything in its power to pay back those who would help them keep the lights on for another year.

On Tuesday, September 21, the organization is throwing a highly exclusive, one-of-a-kind event dubbed Creative Cultivation at the JF Chen showroom on Highland near Melrose.

The $100-a-plate fall fundraiser dinner offers purchasers the chance to gorge on a cornucopia edibles from local favorites while none other than Flying Lotus performs.

But that's not all. Not hardly

The price of entry comes with two more musical performances -- sets from Daedelus (we debut his new video after the jump) and the Angeleno supergroup Los Esotericos -- not to mention a constant stream of DJed tunes from Dublab's resident experts, beer from the exceptional Lagunitas brewery (plus wine, teas and mezcal), film projections from the Masses crew, a gift bag stuffed with goodies to please any music aficionado, a custom screen-printed tee, and entry to an all-killer no-filler raffle.

What, no sword-juggling monkeys? More details:

The raffle offers a chance to win, among other top-shelf prizes, an original painting by beat scene musician Teebs, a one-year membership to Cinefamily, two nights (plus amenities) stay at the Ace Hotel in Palm Springs, and a pair of tickets to the upcoming Pavement, Sonic Youth and No Age show at the Hollywood Bowl.

A bargain at $100, really, especially considering only 90 tickets are being sold. But you don't have to buy to get something for free. Dublab has been kind enough to give West Coast Sound the following video debut, a collaboration between Daedelus (sound) and Dr. Strangeloop (visuals).

The song, "Tidal Waves Uprising" hails from Daedelus' recent Alpha Pup release, Righteous Fists of Harmony.

For the uninitiated, Los Esotericos features veteran L.A. folkie Mia Doi Todd, Gaby Hernandez of Carlos y Gaby, Andres Renteria (Lotus' band, Blank Blue) and Brian Akio Martinez (Blank Blue).
