Tonight: The Daylights, Tracy Bonham, Shonen Knife, the Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group, Mike Posner

L.A.-based trio the Daylights -- Texans Ran and Ricky Jackson and Danish drummer Svend Lerche -- have a nice little buzz going, at least in the FM radio world.

The trio's self-titled debut album, out today, bears the fingerprints of plenty of A-listers -- Youth produced it, and guys who've worked with U2, Oasis and Coldplay mixed it -- and the musical bloodlines of myriad bands still sucking at the teat of Radiohead.

But as mainstream rock goes, you could do worse than their blustery single "Rogue Machine (Don't Say That You Want Me)," and the unsigned trio has worked their aesthetic into a bazillion song placements on television (including the season premiere of One Tree Hill) and tours supporting the likes of Katy Perry, OneRepublic and Civil Twilight.

The Daylights celebrate the album release by playing a charity gig tonight at Club L (formerly Club Lingerie) in Hollywood, and Ms. Perry herself is scheduled to perform a song with the band. Hold on to your energy drink.

Elsewhere: Tracy Bonham plays the Hotel Cafe behind the release of her fourth album "Masts of Manhatta." ... Funeral Party continues its residency at the Bootleg Theater. ... And Mike Posner plays the House of Blues.
