Tonight: Delorean, Nitzer Ebb, Brian Wright, Brandon Flowers, A Perfect Circle, Useless Keys

Delorean's chipper set of dance music was one of the highlights of September's FYF Fest in downtown L.A. -- the Barcelona-born quartet's four-on-the-floor beats proved an exhilarating finish to what, for some, was a frustrating festival experience.

With its layered vocals, keening synths and mainly straight-ahead pop songs, the band's debut album Subiza has proven a keeper for fans of indie-rock and electronica alike. Delorean's current U.S. tour with True Panther Sounds labelmates Lemonade has all the makings of a late-night dance party -- you'll just have to imagine it's 3 a.m. when the bands play the Troubadour tonight.

Elsewhere: A Perfect Circle plays the second of its three night at the Avalon, and his one features the quintet playing its second album Thirteenth Step in its entirely. ... Brian Wright headlines the Bootleg Theater behind his new album House on Fire. ... And electro veterans Nitzer Ebb visit the Echoplex in support of their first album in 15 years, Industrial Complex.

Also: Brandon Flowers and Fran Healy at the Fox Theater in Pomona; David Dondero, the Moaners and Star Anna & the Laughing Dogs at Spaceland; Lenka at the Hotel Cafe; Useless Keys, Twilight Sleep and Nightmare Air at the Viper Room; Buika at Disney Hall; Pacific Hurt and Honey Loving Cells at LaBrie's in Glendale; Sea Hayes at Largo; Leopold and His Fiction and Railroad to Alaska at the Silverlake Lounge; the Black Widows at the Redwood Bar; Particle at the Mint; and Jimmy Vaughan's appearance at the Grammy Museum.
