Fanatics! We've Got Some Fantastic Instrumentals in This Week's Show

[Every Sunday from 8 to 10 p.m., Henry Rollins brings an exclusive mix of songs old and new to listeners at 89.9 FM, KCRW. Visit for more information and to stream his show online, or peruse the Radio Notes archives to see past playlists.]

Fanatic! I think we have yet another great show lined up here. We offset our vocal material very well with some fantastic instrumental tracks; the Philippe Besombes track in our second hour might very well be my favorite of the entire show.

Since we had put together last week’s show in advance, we were unable to put in music from the great Ornette Coleman, who has recently passed away. He left behind an incredible body of work and he was greatly appreciated in his own time.

I think our gathering of tunes comes together quite well. I hope you enjoy every second of it.

Listen twice and STAY FANATIC!!!
