You don’t need a VIP ticket or an alarm set for a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” to talk with Avicii — just an Internet connection. The insanely popular Swedish EDM star has joined the ranks of other bigwigs and experts on Quora, a site that's basically Yahoo Answers for highly successful people (and those who aspire to be).

Quora has long been a place to get insider knowledge from CEOs like Reed Hastings (Netflix) and Kevin Systrom (Instagram), Silicon Valley venture capitalists like John Doerr and scientists like Robert Frost (NASA) and Richard Muller (UC Berkeley). And now, the guy responsible for "Wake Me Up" being stuck in your head for all of 2014.

Unlike Reddit AMAs or Twitter chats, Quora is always in Q&A mode. You just post your question and wait for someone — oftentimes someone who actually knows what he or she is talking about — to answer. Since joining in September, Avicii (real name: Tim Bergling) has answered 52 questions, ranging from those directed specifically to him to more general questions, only some of which are music-related. Taken altogether, Avicii's answers reveal a lot about a guy whom most people have only seen in press photos or looking ant-sized way up in the mainstage DJ booth.

Here, he deals with a would-be awkward situation rather cleverly:

He gives his fans the inside scoop.

And shows that sometimes, he's just as clueless as any other twentysomething

He gets theoretical.

And philosophical.

He tries his best to give good advice.

And sometimes that means an aspiring producer gets a short novel as a response.

He makes sure to share his Quora origin story.

And, finally, he even tries to reassure the cynics.

We’ll just have to take his word for it.
