At Tomorrow Night's Tribute to Neil Diamond Downtown, An Unlikely Tejano Band Gets Tapped by the Man Himself
Tomorrow night at the Los Angeles Convention Center downtown, the MusiCares Foundation will honor Neil Diamond with its Person of the Year award, and a bunch of superstar bands will take the stage to celebrate The Action Man and his music. Among them will be the Foo Fighters (of course -- is there any gig they don't play?), Coldplay, Adele, Josh Groban, Tim McGraw, Kid Rock, Urge Overkill (no, really! They'll no doubt do their great version of "Girl, You'll Be a Woman Soon") and others.
