LA WEEKLY LA 101 MUSIC FESTIVAL

LA Weekly partners with LiveNation to present a day of independent music in an indoor/outdoor festival atmosphere.  Produced on the grounds of Gibson Universal Ampitheatre.  A portion of ticket sales will benefit Friends of the L.A. River.

 LA WEEKLY GOLD STANDARD FOOD AND WINE EVENT

March 6, 2011

2011 marks our 3rd annual food event, LA Weekly's Gold Standard. Named for our Pulitzer prize-winning food critic, Jonathan Gold, 40 of his favorite restaurants are invited serve sample menus. The first of two special LA Weekly bi-yearly restaurant issues will publish the Thursday before, which will be made available at the event and compliment the accompanying event program. For an $80 advance VIP ticket attendees enjoy gift bags, eclectic food and drink and sample wines courtesy of the Wine House. A portion of the ticket and raffle proceeds go to Heal the Bay.

Now in its 32nd year, the LA Weekly Theater Awards honors local theater productions and theaters with 99 seats or less. This sell-out event and the media it instigates is invaluable to the community it celebrates. Catered after-party  at the hosting venue.  Raffle proceeds benefit LA Works.
