Perched in the Hollywood Hills, Yamashiro (meaning "mountain palace"), was once a private estate with polished gardens, and has been open to the public, as a Japanese restaurant, for over three decades. Executive chef Brock Kleweno infuses classic Asian dishes with new-world flavors to create California Asian cuisine. In addition to a sushi menu, items offered include truffle hamachi, barbecue baby back ribs, and quinoa and lentil paillard.
