This U.K.-inspired soccer pub in Hermosa Beach was started by Irish footie legend George Best – and so it's safe to say there's no better place in the South Bay to catch a match. Between banks of high-definition televisions and a row of taps pouring Bass, Boddington's, Newcastle and Racer 5 I.P.A. with equal abandon, The Underground Pub & Grill is a soccer fan's dream come true. The British food isn't bad either: The pints and pitchers are cheap, the fish & chips are perfectly greasy and the early morning Bangers Breakfast is sure to satiate even the most hardcore early arriver. The Underground opens early and stays up late, with tables and tables of screaming fans to keep the mood elevated. And if you ever need to catch your breath, the beach is only 50 feet away.
