Pasadena Japanese Cultural Institute | Pasadena and vicinity | Community Venues, Music Venues, Performing Arts Venues | General
Tucked away near the 210 / 134 interchange in Pasadena, you'll find the Pasadena Japanese Cultural Center, a community center that advocates for all things Japanese. The two-story building doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside its walls you'll find Japanese heritage lectures, language classes, martial arts instruction and a wide array of children's activities. Ten-week Japanese language courses are small and intimate at half the price you'll find elsewhere, while the popular kyudo (Japanese archery) classes take a zen-like approach to the ancient form.
