Tucked into the shore of the Silver Lake Reservoir is Richard Neutra's residence and studio, the Neutra VDL Research House, an elegant stack of glass and beams. The renowned architect lived and worked there beginning in 1932, and now, Cal Poly Pomona students give 30-minute tours of the place every Saturday between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. If you’re there in the afternoon, be sure to catch the penthouse reflecting pool.
