Mohawk Bend at Mohawk and Sunset Blvd in Echo Park is the beer wonderland conceived by Tony Yanow, owner of Tony's Darts Away in Burbank and co-owner of Golden Road Brewing in Atwater Village. The roomy sports bar housed in an old movie theater features 70 tap handles, most of which are dedicated to California brews. The largely vegan menu, executed by chef Erick Simmons, includes pub favorites like pizzas, salads and pastas, all of which are vegetarian-friendly.
