An Asian fusion restaurant with a swanky bar and sidewalk patio overlooking Santa Monica's beach, MaKai offers a fish-intensive menu of raw sushi rolls, salmon carpaccio, miso glazed cod and Chilean sea bass. Chef Ryan Baily (formerly of Spago, Sona and Koi) blends classical French technique with a health-conscious Asian influence.
