The California Patients Alliance was created to give patients the opportunity to join a collective that advances and protects patients’ rights while safely serving their medical needs. CPA has formed an alliance of patients that can effectively share resources and provide safe and affordable access to medicine in a comfortable environment. We provide an invaluable humanitarian service to member patients who rely on CPA for medicine that truly improves the quality of their lives and can even prove life saving in certain cases. Our objective is to provide the highest standards of service and patient education.
California Patients Alliance is a Not For Profit Cooperative Corporation dedicated to managing the business of the patient cooperative and CPA operates in strict compliance with California Health and Safety Code 11362.5 and 11362.7. CPA donates a portion of its proceeds to charitable organizations and patients rights lobby groups such as Americans for Safe Access (ASA).
CPA maintains active relationships with community leaders and local officials. We hope to always be an asset to the community, a responsible business, and an excellent neighbor. We believe that means giving back and CPA strongly maintains a charitable approach to accomplishing it’s goals.
CPA is an over 21 cooperative. Established in 2007, CPA is an original member of The Greater Los Angeles Collective Alliance (GLACA), Americans for Safe Access (ASA), Norml, Marijuana Policy Project (MPP), and one of the first unionized cooperatives in the Los Angeles area. Our employees are proud members of UFCW Local 770.
