If you're craving something other than your typical American fare, Xiamara Restaurant on Melrose will satisfy. The restaurant serves Modern Cuban Cuisine, with the crispy pork belly and sweet potato croquettes, the churrasco and the paella being favorites. The menu blends the food cultures of old Cuba which was shaped by the Chinese and Spanish who settled there with more Nuevo Latino cuisine. The results are a success.
