Take a Bao

10250 Santa Monica Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90067-6501

This fast-casual counter might be the best thing to eat at the Century City mall food court, which is saying something — with its open-air patio, heavy flatware and china and plethora of high-end options, it's a food court that puts most malls to shame. With a second location in Studio City, Take a Bao offers a full roster of fresh, healthful versions of Asian classics: bao filled with Thai peanut chicken, spicy sesame citrus chicken rice bowls and our personal favorite, the 8 Veggie Salad, which comes dressed in “grandma's tangy vinaigrette” and is the best-tasting meatless, cheese-less salad you'll find anywhere in town.
