Expect a wait, sometimes even for a counter seat, at plainly-decorated, steam-filled Shabu Shabu House in Little Tokyo's Village Plaza. The dish known as shabu-shabu is the draw here: you quickly cook your own meats, vegetables, and noodles in a hot pot before dipping them either in peanut or ponzu sauce - or both.
