When this beautiful Art Deco structure opened in Beverly Hills in 1930, it was originally called the Fox Wilshire Theatre and then was known for many years as the Wilshire Theatre before the name was changed again, in 2009, to the Saban Theatre. Designed by renowned architect S. Charles Lee, the theater features a two-story lobby, an ornately detailed proscenium and a large balcony. Over the decades, the venue has hosted numerous film screenings, comedy shows, plays and musicals, and musicians who have appeared on its stage include Stevie Nicks, Buddy Guy, Sigur Rós, Patti Smith, Jean-Luc Ponty, Todd Rundgren, Blue Oyster Cult, Johnny Rivers, Wayne Newton, John Prine,
