Pomona Fairplex

1101 W. McKinley Ave.
Pomona, CA 91768
For a long time, this expansive place in Pomona was known as the L.A. County Fairgrounds, and it's still the annual home of the L.A. County Fair, and has been ever since 1922. The 500-plus-acre facility includes Fairplex Park, a race track with a large adjoining grandstand, which is used in the late summer for the annual concert series, featuring such musicians as The B-52s, Al Green, Los Lobos, Demi Lovato, The Motels, Gloria Trevi, Heart, Earth Wind & Fire, Peter Frampton, Chaka Khan, Gretchen Wilson and Tower of Power. Owned by the County of L.A., the sprawling complex is also the site of a wide variety of conventions, music festivals, trade shows, car auctions, drag racing and other motor sports.
