Located in Exposition Park, this museum features permanent exhibits like African mammals and birds, and special exhibits like the butterfly and spider pavilions. Not to be missed, however, is the newly refurbished Dinosaur Hall, which is now a bright, sunny, polished headquarters with tall windows and a modern feel, with a two-level layout. With its impressive collection of shiv-toothed skeletal remains, the dinosaur hall manages to be a delightful balance of the educational and the creepy.
