The überposh Michael Mina restaurant caters to an upscale Hollywood crowd. The elegant design is laden with chandeliers, royal red carpeting, tall candlesticks and roaring fireplace. The outdoor patio turns into a DJ'd dance floor at night. Executive chef Steven Fretz created the summer tasting menu with hamachi sashimi, fried green tomatoes, truffle cavatelli, fish, and strawberry shortcake ($75 per person; $45 wine pairing).
