The longtime Silver Lake nightclub has always hosted Latin dance nights with salsa, reggaeton and bachata, but now the promoters also book indie-rock, punk and pop bands. The building has an interesting history, serving as the site of one of the area's earliest American Legion halls. Eventually, it became one of the city's first gay bars, and in 1989 it was reportedly the site of the first legal rave in this country. Los Globos has an upstairs room, along with a refurbished downstairs ballroom. Age limit varies. Lot and street parking.
