Jar is an aptly named place. Both clean-line decorative and Rat Pack retro, Suzanne Tracht's Beverly Boulevard "chophouse" has white tablecloths, a maître d' in a suit, some of the best steaks in town and a martini that would have kept Dean Martin propped handsomely in a corner for days. Add a jazz playlist, a menu that features not only old-school glories like iceberg wedges, filets of beef with lobster bearnaise sauce (in a white ceramic boat!) and stellar butterscotch pudding.
