Opened in 2006 by Tom Jancar and his partner Richard Kuhlenschmidt, this Chinatown gallery is among the least pretentious in the city. Jancar himself is typically at the front desk, and he'll make it a point to hand you an image list when you walk in. Express interest in an exhibition and he'll engage you wholeheartedly, telling you quirky backstories about the artist or pulling out art books for you to page through. His enthusiasm is contagious, and his knowledge is unparalleled.
