Howard’s in Culver City is famous for its gooey, drippy bacon and avocado burger, which still tastes of the grill. Located squat in the middle of a strip mall with a parking lot that always has room for your overworked Los Angeles car, this burger joint also offers up a delicious BLT on white bread with four glistening slices of bacon. The unpretentious vibe makes you feel right at home choking down as many of the trans-fat laden fries as you can. It hearkens back to a time when people were less worried about their arteries and more worried about having a tasty meal.
