The aptly named Gallery Nucleus might be located in Alhambra, but it’s truly at the heart of L.A.'s artsy graphic novel and anime scene. Exhibits are unpretentious and accessible to everyone from your average curious patron to your hardcore knowledgeable geek. It’s also a great place for gifts, with t-shirts, books and graphic novels to suit the taste of, say, your hard-to-buy-for nephew.
