Named for the "father of international surfing," Duke Paoa Kahanamoku, Duke's in Malibu is the scenic L.A. outpost of the Hawaiian-themed surf and turf restaurant that offers sweeping views of the Pacific ocean. The dining room menu doesn't stray too far from fine dining staples like fish and chips, burgers, lobster tails and jidori chicken, but the "aloha hour" at the Barefoot Bar offers a stellar happy hour if you're just dropping in for the mai tai and the ocean view.
