Inside downtown's famed Oviatt, the first Art Deco building erected in L.A., Cicada takes up a 15,000-square-feet, 30-foot-high room dripping with 1928 design flourishes. The northern Italian, seafood-intensive menu of pastas, salads and appetizers also features lobster linguini, risotto with scallops and shrimp and tuna tartare. Decadent hazelnut mousse cakes and berry cobblers are made in house.
