With seven locations strewn about the West side and the Valley, the idea for California Chicken Cafe was originally thought-up by two college friends in 1991, who both wanted to create a quick service, casual restaurant with good quality food and value. Aside from the glass-encased salad bar, the cafe serves rotisserie chicken, and veggie and chicken-filled wraps, for well under 10 dollars.
