Beer Belly is a Koreatown craft beer bar that introduced the Hite-heavy neighborhood to a volume and variety of local-brewed suds like it had never seen. There are 12 rotating beers on tap (at a "recession-friendly" $10 and under) as well as a variety of bottled beer which include rarities from owners Jimmy and Yume Han's private cellar, like The Bruery's Mischief Gone Wild and Lost Abbey Red Poppy. For those who like to snack while they drink, the 500-square-foot kitchen will turn out a simple and easily executable menu of five shareable dishes. Think asparagus, beet and tofu salad and Grindhaus boar sausage. For any non-beer drinkers who stumble into the bar, there will also be a couple of wines available, as well as a selection of gourmet sodas.
