3 Square Café and Bakery

1121 Abbot Kinney Blvd.
Venice, CA 90291
310-399-6504
Hans Röckenwagner's Abbott Kinney restaurant has long been a neighborhood mainstay, serving three square meals (hence the name) for years to locals and anybody else who wants German apple pancakes for breakfast or market-driven soup or a quinoa burger for later on. It's a cozy place, which also serves the German baker-chef-owner's terrific pastries.
