Would you want to see your grandparents singing Sonic Youth’s “Schizophrenia”? Who wouldn’t? If that’s your idea of gerirocktric entertainment, you’ll want to see Young@Heart, a documentary on a New England senior-citizen chorus that covers the Clash, James Brown and Coldplay. Spiky-haired electric violinist Laurie Anderson didn’t exactly inspire a generation of young, spiky-haired electric violinists to follow in her arty footsteps, but really, did anyone expect that?
