If you're going to claim that you're too sick or injured to do your job, at least try not moonlight as a very public mixed martial arts fighter.

Prosecutors announced that former L.A. firefighter Rafael Davis, who put in claims for workers' compensation insurance while taking on seven MMA bouts, has pleaded guilty:

The L.A. County District Attorney's office says Davis pleaded guilty to one count and will have three other counts dismissed as part of a deal that will put the fighter through 200 hours of community service.

Davis, 6-foot-3, 203 pounds, fought under the name "The Noodle" and had a 12-2 record, according to the website sherdog.com.

The 36-year-old has paid up $30,000 in restitution, prosecutors say. He'll be officially sentenced in March.

Authorities said he filed the claims between Dec. 2, 2008, to May 20, 2011. We found a video of one of his fights from late '08:
