It looks like a rapist might be on the loose at UCLA.

Police on campus warned students this week about a sexual assault and a separate grab at a woman that both happened Saturday on or near campus.

The victims are students. In both cases the suspect, described as a white man in his mid-30s to 40s (more after the jump), got away. CBS2 news reported from campus last night that ...

... both incidents might be related and it might be the same guy, though there are some differences in the descriptions and the vehicles were definitely not he same, according to what UCLA police say.

On Saturday at 2 a.m. a man drove up to a victim walking on Young Drive West near De Neve Plaza, stopped and, through the open, driver's side window, grabbed the studen's wrist. She apparently yanked her wrist away, however, and escaped by running off.

The man was described as being in his 40s and behind the wheel of a green van.

Then, later on Saturday, at 7 p.m., a man is alleged to have followed a victim on-foot around Strathmore and Levering avenues off-campus. Cops say in a crime alert that he grabbed her "around the waist and threw her into the nearby car where he sexual assaulted her."

After that she escaped and so did he.

In that case the bad guy was described as 6 feet, 1 inch tall with a "heavy build" and short brown hair and wearing a Nike t-shirt, athletic shorts and white shoes. He is said to have had a sunburned neck.

A car associated with the suspect was described as a white, 4-door Honda Civic from the '90s.

CBS2 said officials had distributed warning fliers around campus last night.

If you think you know the guy call UCLA police at 310-825-1491.
